The uncooled thermal imager using vanadium oxide focal plane detector is a relatively new type of thermal imager in China. Compared with polysilicon, vanadium oxide material focal plane detector has better image quality and sensitivity, which can better meet different application requirements. In the past, thermal imaging cameras produced in China mainly used polysilicon bolometers. In short, the main advantage of vanadium oxide detectors is higher photoelectric conversion efficiency for infrared light, higher signal-to-noise ratio and strong light protection ability than polysilicon detectors. The vanadium oxide detector has good temperature stability, long life and small temperature drift.
