MH-DN26 fused vision monocular as a lightweight, integral helmet mounted fused thermal and night vision monocular goggle featuring advanced image intensifier tube technology combined with shutter-less thermal imaging camera. It can be operated in intensified mode with extended battery life or in full thermal and intensified fused modes.

The MH-DN26 fusion vision monocular system  is mainly used for tactical surveillance and observation at short and medium range distance. Along with selecting between night vision and thermal channel individually, it allows the operator to enable a fusion mode—a real-time, delay free fusion image which is a supreme solution foe detecting any target and defy poor lighting or weather conditions. The outline mode will help to detect and identify moving and static object in mere seconds. Wide field view allows for better situation awareness.

The unit is small and lightweight which makes it a perfect tool for covert operations.

Modern night time combat requires full operational effectiveness in varying conditions and terrains, from inner city to dense jungle. Image Intensifiers require some ambient illumination to operate effectively but they are defeated by excess light such as from street lighting or headlamps, camouflage, vegetation and from insufficient light on cloudy moonless nights, fog/smoke or complete darkness inside buildings.

Thermal imaging is independent of light and operates in any level of darkness, fog and smoke but does not identify the features and textures shown by image intensifier.

To deliver maximum situational awareness in all light conditions, MH-DN26 helmet monocular combines an image intensifier and a thermal imager giving fused night vision.
