With the development of science and technology, elite soldiers of various countries are also equipped with thermal imaging cameras and night vision devices to assist observation. Night vision devices usually have two types of monocular or binocular. While monocular and binocular night vision devices work well, the field of view they provide is limited. This limited FOV creates a "tunnel vision" effect and can create depth perception issues.

In recent years, our company has developed and produced the panoramic night vision device MH-GPNVG. Among them, "G" stands for "ground", indicating that the night vision device is only suitable for use by land teams; "P" is "panorama", indicating that the night vision device has a wider observation range. GPNVG panoramic night vision device adopts 4 image intensifier tubes, the horizontal field of view can reach 120°, and the vertical field of view can reach 50°. Low-light and night maneuvers appear more natural in black and white, increasing the contrast details of shapes and shadows, giving the operator more visual information to evaluate and capture. White phosphors provide various shades of intensities between black and white (on top of black and green), resulting in better contrast and depth perception. Leveraging the design of the Aeronautical PNVG (AN/AVS-10), the 120° panoramic field of view of the GPNVG enhances situational awareness during reduced lights and nighttime operations. The individual monocular can be detached from the system and powered via the included power adapter to provide a low profile handheld NVG.

Today, GPNVG is not only available, but also for the civilian market. Available in a variety of helmet and mounting configurations, its rugged design is sure to survive the harshest environments (such as persistent ocean and freezing conditions). The GPNVG also has an external battery pack for better performance during prolonged use or in cold temperatures. The significantly enlarged field of view (FOV) of the GPNVG provides the user with an advantage through increased situational awareness, which directly affects the area of fire overlap, reaction time and survivability.
